It’s been several months since Lindsay and Frank’s Blue Lakes elopement in Colorado and they still cross my mind frequently. Maybe it was the way I instantly connected with Lindsay and her similar zest for life. I think part of it was how fully they trusted in me to help plan their magical day in Breckenridge, Colorado – from their magical waterfall ceremony spot, to the timeline of the day’s events, to ending at sunset on top of the world.
Mostly, because we had so much dang fun together and laughed the whole time! At the end of the night, I asked them to share with each other what they were most looking forward to together in the future. They both agreed that they couldn’t wait to get back home for their Saturday pizza date night and snuggling on the couch with their pups!
Leading up to actually getting married, Frank would randomly say “marry me” all the time to Lindsay. Finally, Lindsay laid out the reality of eloping vs. having a big wedding and these two traveled from Missouri with their parents to elope in the mountains of Colorado.
We found the most special, intimate, private spot next to a waterfall for their ceremony at Blue Lakes. It was seriously everything Colorado is made of.
After signing their marriage license and clinking glasses of champagne with their parents, we headed further up the mountain to explore some more.
Now tell me that this doesn’t look like the most perfect place to get married!!?!??!?!
