Kaitlyn and Pat’s Boulder, Colorado elopement day was 100% them. They rented the cutest tiny cabin in the woods that they had discovered on a recent trip out to CO.
The owner of the cabin told them about a private hike on their land they can take that overlooks all of the Indian Peaks Wilderness. After getting ready outside and their first look, we hiked up to the overlook where these two shared their personal vows and exchanged rings.
Kaitlyn Facetimed her family to tell them they were officially married and then we hiked back down to snack on some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches before heading off on our next adventure at Brainard Lake.
Kaitlyn and Pat met in high school but didn’t go on their first date until 6 years later at Bonnaroo Music Festival. Kaitlyn described their relationship as being best friends with each other. When they are not exploring a new area of the U.S. you can usually find these two at concerts, camping, enjoying happy hour on a patio, or watching movies with their two cats, Kona and Ezra.
