Casual Mountain Elopement | Amanda + Tom

Despite being Amanda’s older brother’s best friend growing up, Tom didn’t let it stop him from asking her out for the first time 18 years ago. After watching “The Ring” in theaters they shared a first kiss on the way home and realized there might be something there. They finally got engaged while on vacation in Maine. From the very start, these high school sweethearts knew they wanted to have an intimate elopement in the mountains.

Amanda and Tom had dreamed of having snow on their wedding day – and Colorado delivered! They said their vows next to an alpine lake during one of Colorado’s many sunny snow days before going on a hike. Perhaps one of the most Colorado things to happen during a wedding, a moose was quietly watching these two from a (safe) distance as we explored!

After soaking up some fresh alpine air, the newlyweds ended the evening along the shore of Lake Dillon near Breckenridge sharing cupcakes, sipping their favorite wine, and watching the sunset.
