Intimate Wedding at Coffee on the Rocks | Braxton & Lydia

Braxton and Lydia’s wedding at Coffee on the Rocks was a beautiful celebration of love, family, and the stunning natural beauty of Estes Park – captured on digital and 35mm film!

From the start, they knew this picturesque mountain town was where they wanted to tie the knot, making their wedding not just a celebration of their love but also a tribute to the place where they both met and their love story unfolded. 

The day began with their ceremony at Sprague Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. A heartfelt poem reading set the tone for an emotional and intimate exchange of vows. Rings were exchanged, promises made, and with a kiss, they were officially married! 

Following the ceremony, Braxton and Lydia shared their first dance beside the lake. After exploring a scenic meadow nearby with their family, we headed off on our own adventure for a bit as we drove up Trail Ridge Road. This iconic route offered breathtaking views, the kind of landscapes that make you stop and appreciate just how small you are in the grand scheme of things. Braxton and Lydia explored the area, soaking in the magic of the mountains and creating unforgettable memories captured through candid portraits.

As evening approached, everyone made their way to Coffee on the Rocks for a laidback wedding reception. Guests mingled during the cocktail hour, and the laughter and chatter were accompanied by heartfelt toasts and ski shots! 

Braxton and Lydia’s day was a perfect reflection of who they are—adventurous, deeply connected to their loved ones, and profoundly in love with each other and the town they call home. Estes Park provided the perfect backdrop, from Sprague Lake to Trail Ridge Road to the warm and inviting wedding reception at Coffee on the Rocks. It was a day they’ll remember forever and one that left everyone who attended with full hearts and lasting memories!

Bailey is the best! The photos absolutely speak for themselves, but she is also the kindest human out there. As soon as I found We, The Light online, my husband and I were pretty sold, but after talking to Bailey, we were absolutely certain! She really listened to every single thing we wanted for our day and made sure it happened. She even helped us deal with family and is a PRO people wrangler (and does it in the nicest way you can think of!). The next day our families couldn’t stop talking about how positive and kind Bailey was!

From every step of the planning Bailey was so easy to work with and responsive. My dress ripped on the day of, and she had a sewing kit in her car! Who else is that prepared?! She had me fixed up and back to taking photos in no time!

To top it all off, we were promised a sneak peak in a weeks time, and she sent it in TWO days!! And not just a few photos, there were SO many beautiful photos that encompassed the whole day from ceremony, to family photos, to adventure photos, to the party afterwards. It was so special to relive the whole day looking through our photos together, and our families were so excited to already have family photos to be able to show off!

If we had to do it again, I would absolutely hire Bailey! The service and photos are incredible, and you walk away feeling like you spent your day with a new friend.
