Olivia’s Colorado newborn photos are sweet, candid and reflect just how much her mom, dad and fur-sister lover her.

I know I have said this before, but one of my favorite things about my “job” (if you can call it that because I love it so much!) is having the opportunity to connect with and see friends I may have not seen in a while. I met Trent and Caitlin in college through my best friend, and I have loved being able to see and talk to them at events and get togethers, so I was incredibly thankful when they invited me into their adorable Arvada, CO home to capture some sweet pictures of their newest addition, Olivia Paige, at three weeks old.

The most awesome thing about Caitlin and Trent is that they have been dating longer than Ben and I have – and that’s saying something! They started dating in middle school and have been together for 12+ years. You can totally tell that their love and commitment for each other is so real by the way they tag team taking care of baby Olivia. And, with 6 months of leave each, I am sure they will be even more thankful for each others presence in learning the ins and outs of raising this beautiful girl.

When I arrived, miss Daisy, their sweet lab doggy, was there to greet me and make sure I knew that she was indeed the big fur-sister! I loved how carefully Daisy watched over Olivia and always turned her model face on when posing for the camera. It was so special to be able to include Daisy in so many of the family portraits.

Caitlin did an amazing job decorating and designing Olivia’s nursery. My favorite items: the cute woodland animal water colors paintings, the puffy pink crocheted foot stool, and an “OLIVIA” banner draped above her crisp white crib. Friends, TJ MAXX is apparently the bomb when it comes to adorable nursery items! You have to see all the cuteness for yourself in the pictures.

So, between Olivia passing out in her parent’s arms after eating, Daisy showing off her cute face, and mom and dad just loving on their new addition so much, this session was amazing! I hope you enjoy the tiny toes and cuteness!
