Best Small Wedding Venues in Colorado – Updated for 2023
Posted On | February 12, 2023
You’re on the hunt for the best small wedding venues in Colorado and that can only mean one thing – you’re saying goodbye to the traditional, fancy, and expensive wedding and hello to a more intimate celebration with your closest loved ones. And let us tell you, that’s one heck of a decision you’ve made!
Your wedding day is one that hopefully is focused on you and your partner committing your life to each other. You’ll get all dressed up, read your vows to each other, maybe exchange rings, and hopefully cheers to some champagne after saying “I do”. That all sounds perfect, but there are a few other decisions you have to make before you get to that point.
One of the first things you need to find when planning your intimate wedding in Colorado is finding the perfect small wedding venue. Because you’re planning a smaller wedding (likely 50 guests or less), you’ll want to make sure that your wedding venue is a perfect reflection of you two.
Maybe you want a physical venue with a building where you can host your informal reception at afterward. Or perhaps you want to get married in the middle of the mountains with mother nature as your only venue. No matter what your style of wedding is, here are the top 50+ best Colorado small wedding venues.

If I’m having an intimate wedding of about 10 people, do you know if I have to get married at one of the event decks on top of Vail mountain, or can we do a ceremony at a random location at the top??
-
Hey Erin! I’m not 100% sure. I believe that you still need to rent the event deck, but we could be wrong!

Please explain Keystone Resort. Seems you’re lumping several Keystone venues into one price. Could you breakdown info and pricing for each Keystone wedding venue please
-
Hey Laurie! Great question! Yes, there are several different options available at Keystone Resort! Since this is a good overview for small wedding veues in CO with a starting point for each, I didn’t want to get into the nitty-gritty details. If you head to the link I provided (https://www.keystoneresort.com/explore-the-resort/about-the-resort/weddings.aspx) it has more info on the options that Keystone Resort provides. I also always recommend reaching out to the individual venue to get the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding their wedding options. Happy planning!

Hi,
Looking for a small venue for 8 family members , in the mountains (possibly Beaver Creek) for a 50th wedding anniversary. Lodging, dinner, cake, renewal of vows.
