After a day of photographing eleven amazing families, Christine and Simon pulled up in the Anthem neighborhood parking lot in Broomfield, CO for a sunset couples session to celebrate their upcoming anniversary. They were such a breath of fresh air and so incredibly sweet to photograph.
This Spring Mini Session event was a little different than past mini sessions with 100% of proceeds going to benefit Musana Community Development Organization in their efforts to build an in-patient hospital wing in Iganga, Uganda (read more about why I want to help build this hospital!). Christine found out about the event and was completely on board as she had just come back from visiting Musana on a teacher missionary trip (read about how 10 days in Uganda shaped this business – literally!).
I absolutely loved hearing about Christine’s experience there, how it impacted her life, what she saw in the Ugandan people and just how much she cared. Her and Simon hope to go back together some day to serve Musana together.
Their session was filled with so many sweet moments, gorgeous sunlight and a love between them that you could tell they have been together for a while – you know, the kind of love where they know how to finish each other’s sentences and make the right faces to ensure the other person laughs.
Enjoy this spring, sunset session!
