Fall Alpine Lake Elopement | Cheyenne + Florencio

The morning of Cheyenne and Florencio’s October elopement, a thick blanket of clouds and the occasional snowflake greeted us as we left their rental home outside of Breckenridge.

After spending a slow morning getting ready and writing their vows, we wound our way up a mountain pass in a caravan of cars with their family.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Cheyenne and Flo shared their first look as the sun began to peek over the mountains behind them.

Surrounded by their loved ones, they exchange their vows overlooking an alpine lake. Hugs, tears, and lots of congratulations were shared after they made it official!

To celebrate, we spent some time exploring around the lake, soaking up the fall colors, warming up with some coffee, and cheersing some beers. The day wouldn’t be complete without a quiet lakeside first dance and a picnic with cake + charcuterie!

The weather in October can be alllll over the place, but I think it’s safe to say that the moody backdrop it provided for Cheyenne and Florencio was perfect in every way.
