Fall Dream Lake Elopement | Ali + Tom

Ali and Tom were dreaming of a quintessential fall Dream Lake elopement in Rocky Mountain National Park, and boy did Colorado deliver!

The bride and groom spent a slow morning getting ready with family at the cutest Airbnb before sharing their first look in the backyard, their loved ones cheering them on from a distance.

We all formed a caravan and headed into Rocky Mountain National Park. After a short hike, Ali and Tom shared their vows with Longs Peak in the background and their family surrounding them. They shared a few dances, popped some champagne, and signed their marriage license, making it official!

After lots of hugs and tears, we headed off on our own to hike to one of the prettiest alpine lakes in the park – Dream Lake.

Typically, fall colors would have been finished by the time their wedding day came, but thanks to a late fall we had last year the leaves were poppin’ and we enjoyed the most colorful hike!

They marveled at the beauty around them, shared a quick post-hike snack, and made it back down the mountain in time to listen to the elk bugle at sunset!

We finished the evening back at their Airbnb with a special dinner made by Granite Table Chef.

Ali and Tom’s Dream Lake elopement is proof that fall in Colorado is always a good idea!

When my husband and I decided to elope, I wasn’t sure where to begin but We, The Light Photography’s website was one one of the first sites I found, and it was full of so much information and inspiration, and the guides they post are so amazing. I knew that by the thoroughness of their site, and how excited they seem for anyone (not just their own couples!) to have a great experience, that this was the right place for us!
We worked with Bailey and honestly I cannot imagine our wedding day without her. We had never been to RMNP, and wanted to choose a location that was new and awe inspiring to both of us- and Bailey guided us the whole way! She planned our day of timeline, answered all my questions, and suggested vendors and just made everything so stress free. On the actual day- meeting Bailey felt like seeing an old friend! She’s just a warm and kind soul, and she was truly a joy to work with. Not to mention the amazing photos she took of us!!
Photos of your wedding day are a very important thing to hold as a memory, but I would highly recommend also choosing vendors who you click with to make your day fun and light and so enjoyable! And that is definitely found at We, The Light Photography. Bailey— thank you so much!! We are so happy.
