Wendy + Joseph’s wedding day was full of the most jaw dropping views, and LOTS of snuggles.

We met up just before sunrise as Wendy changed into her dress at the trailhead and Joseph patiently waited to see his bride. They shared their first look, and then exchanged vows as the sun began to rise, bathing the mountain behind them in a fiery pink glow.

After a long hug and a quick selfie, we made our way up the mountain, taking in the last few leaves of autumn doing their best to hang on. We took our time watching the sun slowly burn the clouds off, revealing the dreamiest mountain view in the distance.

The pair shared a meal and some cake along the edge of the lake before we set off to explore more of the park. We were even able to find a herd of elk grazing in the distance!

Just as we finished up for the day, the snow that had been threatening to fall all day finally made an appearance, signaling it was time for a looooong celebratory nap.

If you’ve ever considered an October wedding, let this be your sign! Rocky Mountain National Park is the absolute DREAMIEST in the fall, especially when you get a day as beautiful as Wendy + Joseph had 🥰
