Nick and Michelle’s engagement session in Fort Collins, CO was full of fun, rustic vibes, gorgeous golden light and lots of laughs.
Holy guacamole am I so thankful that after we had to postpone Nick and Michelle’s engagement session not one, but two times, we ended up with an absolutely gorgeous spring evening for their Fort Collins, CO engagement session. When I first sat down with Michelle over a hot latte to talk about her and Nick’s wedding plans, what they love, what they envision for not just their big day, but all the moments leading up to it, I knew I was going to love this lady and her fiance. Michelle is incredibly kind and genuine and wanted to just enjoy the engagement period. They are not tying the know until June 2018, but we are doing 4 fun mini engagement sessions over the next year to celebrate each season of their engagement (spring, summer, winter and fall).
This authentic couple is simple, but oh so romantic – hence their sweet living room proposal and their love of playing games together. When Michelle + Nick arrived at their spring engagement session, I told them to pretend like they were on a date together, have fun, make jokes, do whatever you love to do together. And boy, were these two such a blast! For example, I was walking away to our next location and I glance back and see Nick dancing with Michelle, dipping her and giving her a kiss (folks, this is LOVE!).
Michelle and I decided to do their sweet spring engagement session at a big red barn on the south side of Fort Collins, CO. Fun fact: this is the exact location that my hubby, Ben, and I took our engagement pictures 5 years ago. It was a perfect setting with luscious green grass, blooming trees, and a sunset that did not disappoint.
Enjoy Michelle and Nicks sweet spring engagement session and I can’t wait for their summer session (hint: it might involve ice cream cones on a hot summer evening)!
