Jenny and Josh’s hiking elopement in Colorado embraced all that nature had to throw at us that day. Including rain…
Want to know what happens when it rains on your elopement day????
✨MAGIC✨
We started their hiking elopement in Colorado in the Indian Peaks Wilderness knowing we would likely see some rain. Thankfully it held off all the way up to the top. As soon as we arrived at the lake where Josh and Jenny wanted to say their vows, the rain started falling.
With raincoats on, we sought shelter underneath a make-shift teepee that someone had constructed. The perfect time for a break and some snacks.
Over the next few hours, the rain fell on and off and we were able to have the lake almost all to ourselves. Right as these two finished saying their vows a heavier rain came down as it washed over the new Mr. + Mrs.
At the end of the night, the clouds parted and we were even able to sneak in some awesome star shots!
Josh and Jenny, we know your elopement day didn’t go as planned, but we don’t think we could have imagined a more magical place for you to get married. Thanks for trusting us to be your guide and photographer – CONGRATS!
