From the moment I met Ian and Jifu I knew they were going to have a meaningful wedding. Even with a few mishaps leading up to their day, these two were filled with so much peace and patience knowing that the only thing that really mattered that day was them saying “I Do” to each other in front of friends and family that supported them every step of the way. These two faithfully walked down the aisle at The Dove House – Liongsgate Event Center in Lafayette, CO.
Jifu incorporated red into their celebration at every chance she got: from her satin red belt that draped down the back of her dress to red table cloths and men’s vests. The Dove House venue was a perfect compliment with blooming red flowers and a fun, vintage red phone booth that was perfect for hanging Jifu’s dreamy dress on.
As a second photographer for Bertarelli Photography, my job was to keep my camera pointed on Ian was Jifu walked down the aisle. I am thankful for some great pictures because I have to admit I was a sobbing mess and I saw Ian shed tears of thanksgiving and happiness as he saw Jifu turn the corner of the aisle for the first time. They had an intimate ceremony filled with personal stories, prayers for a healthy marriage and a sand ceremony that tied their two lives together.
I loved how every chance he got, Ian stole a kiss from Jifu. They danced their first dance like no one else in the world mattered except them. They snuggled and kissed like no one was watching and I was so thankful to capture every moment along side them. Enjoy this beautiful, heart-felt wedding!
