Kaitlyn + Derek | Lookout Mountain Engagement Session

This is Kaitlyn + Derek. They had their engagement session at Lookout Mountain in Golden, CO.

They are high school sweethearts whos relationship started after Kaitlyn officially un-friend-zoned Derek their senior year. Derek came over to Kaitlyn’s house for their first date and he helped her bake a cake for a school project.

They are Oregon natives, but are living in Colorado for a year while Kaitlyn finishes her physical therapy program in Denver. To celebrate their engagement they wanted to remember their time spent here in Colorado and take adventure engagement photos in the Colorado mountains.

We met up on a warm fall evening to take their engagement photos at White Ranch Park in Golden, CO. We then headed up the hill to Windy Saddle Park on Lookout Mountain to capture photos as the sun set over the mountains.
