There’s not a more stunning location in all of Colorado to get engaged than mountain top, on a sun filled day, overlooking a lake leading to snow-topped peaks. Mohawk Lakes sits right outside Breckenridge,CO, at 12,073 feet above sea level and is a gorgeous hike for anyone looking to escape the city. Wills + Nicole are avid outdoor seekers, whether it’s snowboarding in the winter or hiking, fly-fishing and backpacking in the summer. So this outdoor, mountain-filled proposal was a must. I was so fortunate to be asked to come along on this little adventure, along with 6 other of our closest friends, and snap some photos of the event.

It’s always a little bit of an adventure to seek out the PERFECT spot. Wills and some friends had come up the weekend before to scope out the location. But, when the planned location was filled with people, we had to quickly make a decision to look for another. And, Wills was so happy we did, because absolutely nothing compares to this view! After he popped the question, and Nicole said “YES”, we popped some mini champagnes and celebrated a couple that is near and dear to our heart. I am so happy for you, Wills + Nicole, and can’t wait for all the celebrations to come!
