New Beginnings on New Year’s Eve | Kelly + Jordan

Posted On | December 31, 2020

Kelly and Jordan’s New Year’s Eve elopement at Sprague Lake was a perfect way to ring in a new chapter together. Planned in less than four weeks after COVID forced them to change plans, it ended up being even better than anyone could have imagined! Despite the cold, the day was blessed with beautiful, sunny weather that immediately set the tone for the rest of the afternoon. The couple arrived at the lake with wide smiles, ready to make their vows surrounded by the peaceful beauty of Rocky Mountain National Park.

Their first look at the lake was a quiet, intimate moment, setting the tone for their ceremony that followed shortly after. With the sun shining down on the snow-covered landscape, they exchanged vows and officially became a married couple. The lake, still and serene, provided a stunning backdrop as Kelly and Jordan committed to each other in the heart of nature.

After the ceremony, we took family portraits by the lake, capturing the love and joy shared between the couple and their loved ones. A champagne toast followed as they signed their marriage license, celebrating their new union in the glow of the winter sun.

We wrapped up the day with couples portraits around Sprague Lake, taking in the crisp air and breathtaking views. Kelly and Jordan couldn’t wait to continue their celebration in Estes Park, so with hearts full of love, they set off to welcome the new year together!

Like so many other couples in 2020, our large 250+ person wedding had to be postponed. I found We, The Light Photography and reached out FOUR WEEKS in advance…by miracle, Bailey was somehow available for our New Years Eve wedding ceremony. Bailey was incredible throughout the entire process, and made it so easy planning a last minute ceremony within a month. She was organized, helpful, knowledgeable and all around is just a true gem to work with and be around. For two people who are not naturals in front of the camera, Bailey made us feel SO comfortable and confident the entire time.

The turnaround time for getting our photos back was remarkable. I’m so forever grateful for how our last minute wedding turned out – and SO much of that is owed to Bailey and her talent. No amount of thank yous will ever be able to show We, The Light Photo how grateful we are for their work!!!!! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend – 10/10
