Al + Elise | Dream Lake Engagement Session

Al and Elise wanted an adventure for their Colorado engagement session so they decided that a hike up to Dream Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park would be the perfect fit.

As we started the 1.1 mile trek up to Dream Lake for Al and Elise’s Colorado adventure engagement session in Rocky Mountain National Park, we didn’t quite know that we were heading into the arctic. These two were serious troopers in the freezing temps and winds that made all our hands go numb at some point during the session. I’m so thankful for adventurous couples who are willing to step outside the norm and take epic photos in some of Colorado’s most gorgeous locations.

Here are the top three reasons I knew that this couple was my jam:

1. They immediately said yes without hesitation when I suggested hiking to Dream Lake in RMNP for their engagement session.
2. They brought a thermos of hot chocolate to their session to share (hot chocolate lovers unite!).
3. They were not afraid to snuggle up to stay warm and laugh and have fun.
