Rocky Mountain National Park Engagement Session | Amye + Harper
Posted On | September 16, 2022
Amye and Harper’s love story began three years ago on the Mississippi Coast on the 4th of July. A chance encounter at a bar led to a night of laughter and dancing, and soon after, they exchanged numbers.
Harper was quick to text Amye the next morning, and from there, they embarked on a long-distance love as Amye pursued her medical school journey three hours away.
Despite the distance, their love only grew stronger as they embraced each other’s quirks and brought out the best in each other. They knew that marriage was in their future, and after months of ring shopping and serious conversations, destiny presented itself on another 4th of July.
On a rooftop, surrounded by loved ones, pictures, and champagne, Harper got down on one knee, and tears of joy flowed as he asked Amye to be his forever.
Amye found in Harper a warmth and kindness that radiates to everyone he meets, while Harper cherishes Amye’s delightful weirdness that brings so much joy into their lives.
Although they are getting married close to their hometown, they knew they wanted an epic Colorado backdrop for their engagement photos. They were already planning a trip to see a concert at Red Rocks, so the timing was perfect!
Despite the scattered storms throughout the day, Amye and Harper exuded pure joy, and we had the most incredible time exploring together. It just goes to show that sometimes a little rain can be a good thing!
