When Sarah first reached out to me she told me about her vision for an intimate, winter, Colorado mountain elopement with the stunning Rocky Mountains as the backdrop. As soon as she told me she was considering holding her elopement at Sapphire Point in Breckenridge, CO, I told her yes, yes yes! Sapphire Point is by far one of my favorite spots for an intimate wedding in all of Colorado. First of all it has stunning views. Also, you can walk to so many different spots to get that perfect “lost in the woods” or “on top of the world” feel that you are dreaming of for your wedding day.
Sarah and Patrick’s wedding day was spent with Sarah’s daughter and Patrick’s mom. They celebrated with a sweet cake perfect for the mountain setting. Sarah designed and created her own bouquet the day before and put loving details into matching hair pieces for her and her daughter. I loved Sarah’s winter white leg warmers that peeked beneath the bottom of her sheer, Vera Wang wedding dress. Every detail was unique and personal to Sarah and Patrick.
The snow started to softly fall just as Sarah and Patrick arrived and, by the time we left, everything was covered in a fresh blanket of snow. I don’t think I could have picked a more perfect day for these two to say yes to forever with each other. Thank you so much, Sarah and Patrick, for inviting me into such an important and intimate moment in the rest of your life – congrats and so many well wishes coming your way!
