St. Mary’s Glacier Engagement Session | Michael + Jay

After having to postpone due to Colorado’s first blizzard of the year, the time I spent exploring with Michael, Jay, and their pup Gus for their St. Mary’s Glacier engagement session was well worth the wait!

I first met Michael in college as we worked together on a fundraiser theater project for a local domestic violence shelter. I have so many fond memories of brainstorming sessions and rehearsals, and was SO excited when he reached out to me last summer sharing the happy news that he was engaged!

Michael met Jay while on a community rowing team. In a classic enemies-to-lovers plot (arguably the best plotline, if you ask me), their rocky start led to accidentally crashing a wedding on their first date, which eventually led to Michael surprising Jay with a riverside proposal.

Anyone lucky enough to spend time in their company can see how well they compliment each other and bring out the best in one another. It was an honor to get to document a tiny piece of their relationship.
