Marc and Taylor’s stargazing elopement in Crested Butte, Colorado, was the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and pure joy, captured on digital and 35mm film!

From the very start of the day, Taylor & Marc set the tone for an unforgettable, stress-free celebration. The morning was filled with small but meaningful moments—exchanging gifts, playing Scrabble, writing their vows, and savoring the quiet before the journey ahead.

After a scenic drive on a 4×4 trail, the couple arrived at the trailhead, where they took a quiet moment to change into their wedding clothes and share their first look between the trees.

As we began hiking to their ceremony location, we soaked in our surroundings. The weather was perfect, the trail was deserted, and the wildflowers were poppin’—exactly what they’d dreamed of for their ceremony! Their vows, spoken in a peaceful field of wildflowers, felt as natural as the surrounding landscape. The ceremony itself was a perfect reflection of Marc and Taylor’s approach to life—unhurried, deeply personal, and filled with gratitude for each other.

After their vows, we spent time relaxing among the wildflowers before heading to our next location: the very top of the pass with 360-degrees of stunning views. The light was magical as the sky shifted colors and they sherd their first dance and wedding cake. As the evening cooled, Marc and Taylor spent the rest of the evening staying warm by the campfire, roasting s’mores and stargazing under the vast expanse of the Milky Way.

Taylor & Marc’s elopement was everything they had hoped for and more—an adventure, a celebration, and a reminder that the most meaningful moments happen when we take the time to truly be present.
