Arapaho Valley Ranch Wedding on Film | Kevin & Erin

Every time I think about Erin and Kevin’s Arapaho Valley Ranch wedding, the word “community” instantly comes to mind.

Erin and Kevin are seriously two of the coolest people I’ve ever met. They have been everywhere and done everything, and yet are so incredibly kind and humble!

The pair met while independently backpacking through Thailand before starting medical school and immediately knew they had something special.

After they got engaged during a rock climbing trip in Utah, they imagined getting married over a weekend that felt like a family reunion at summer camp. Arapaho Valley Ranch was the perfect backdrop for their wedding!

From the moment I arrived, I could feel the love of their community.

Their moms hand-picked and arranged the bouquets. Their friends swapped their favorite Erin and Kevin stories as they created collages for their newlyweds to enjoy. Their rings were even handmade by one of their closest friends!

After leisurely getting ready during an intense afternoon thunderstorm, Erin and Kevin shared a joyful first look, followed by the most beautiful ceremony that included readings by their parents and the exchanging of marriage garlands.

Their loved ones showered them with over an hour of toasts that left absolutely zero dry eyes in the crowd, and they shared their first dance under the stars to a live band.

Every little detail of the day was intentional, and while it was a large group, it still felt incredibly intimate with each and every guest having a deep connection to the couple.

It was an absolute honor to photograph this day at Arapaho Valley Ranch on both digital and 35mm film, and to get to meet so many wonderful, loving souls!
