In true 2020 fashion, nothing with Alycia and David’s wedding day went according to plan – and it was PERFECT!
When a wildfire caused them to scrap their plans and start from scratch less than 24 hours before they were supposed to say “I do”, this couple was completely unphased!
After a day spent rearranging vendors, lodging, and timelines, there was not a single dry eye as they were able to finally share their vows in the pink morning light. Post coffee break, Alycia and Dave spent their morning hiking to a waterfall, signing their marriage license, and enjoying their first meal together as a married couple while a bird kept a watchful eye on their cupcake crumbs.
Despite a pandemic and wildfire, Alycia and Dave still managed to do the dang thing and create a day that truly honored their relationship. Our couples have made it through so much this past year and these two were no exception!
To all the couples who persevered and got married in 2020 – you freakin’ did it!
To all the couples getting married in 2021 and beyond – no matter what the year throws at you, we promise you it will be worth it.
