Sunrise Elopement in Breckenridge, CO | Anne + Danny

I’ve seen a lot of sunrises, but few have been as epic as the one we witnessed on Anne and Danny’s wedding day in Breckenridge! We met at the trailhead at 5:45 am, just as twilight started to fade, but before the world began to wake up. After taking a few star photos, we hiked in to where the pair would say their vows. If anyone deserves a medal, it’s Anne for changing into her wedding dress in the arctic -4 degree cold we were in!

Despite the wind and accompanying frozen fingers and toes, Anne and Danny shared their first look and vows under the moon just as the sun began to turn the mountain behind them a majestic pink.

We headed to Mountain Dweller Coffee to warm up over some caffeinated beverages before reading heartfelt letters from friends and family. Once we regained feeling in our extremities, we popped some bubbly over a frozen lake before ending the day in the most Colorado way possible: Jetboiled coffee and cake in the back of their Subaru.

I can’t tell you how many times my jaw dropped throughout the day from disbelief at the beauty we were surrounded by and the love that these two radiated. We had the absolute best day exploring together!
