Surprise Proposal at the Elizabeth Hotel | Quincy + Ash

We don’t typically shoot in places like this, but when a friend asks you to capture her proposal, you say yes!

Quincy + Ash first met at an LGBTQ+ student org meeting during their second week of college. While Ash has always been a hopeless romantic that believes in love at first sight, Quincy never believed in that until she met Ash.

After realizing that Quincy was the person she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, Ash surprised her with a proposal during their trip to Arizona last fall. Wanting to make sure Ash still had the experience of getting to say yes, Quincy reached out to me shortly after to plan a surprise proposal of her own!

The afternoon of the proposal, the duo arrived under the impression of doing a regular couples session at the gorgeous Elizabeth Hotel. After spending some time exploring the building, we headed down to Ash’s favorite cocktail lounge, the Magic Rat. There, up on the marquee, was Quincy’s special message.

Ash of course said yes!
