Telluride Waterfall Elopement | Alyssa + Jake

Tell me, what’s a more romantic setting to say I do than a waterfall at sunrise?! 

Alyssa and Jake’s wedding day was absolute magic from start to finish. After a middle-of-the-night wake up call, the three of us met up at the base of a mountain to spend some time stargazing before beginning our climb up to the first of four waterfalls we’d explore that day.

The sun rose with us as we got higher and higher, stopping often to marvel at the rapidly changing colors in the canyon surrounding us. 

After making it to the top, we took some time to soak in the power of the largest waterfall on our hike, before continuing on to a smaller one down the trail where they decided to have their ceremony. As the mist slowly settled around them, Jake and Alyssa exchanged their vows and made it official! 

All of the hiking we did worked up a pretty strong appetite, so we headed into town to warm up over some coffee and brunch before exploring a bit more.

It’s so hard to choose which moment was my favorite from their day, because it was so SO perfect! Congratulations again, Alyssa and Jake!
