Two-Day Small Wedding Adventure | Jennie + Richard

Posted On | August 8, 2022

We’re big believers that your wedding should include everything you’re envisioning and more. Sometimes that means splitting it into two days!
When Jennie and Richard were planning their wedding, they knew that they wanted a morning ceremony with their friends and family so they could spend the rest of the day fishing, playing yard games, and celebrating. BUT, they also wanted to explore their favorite alpine lake that was 90 minutes away.
We got a bit creative and managed to get the best of both worlds!
Jennie and Richard spent the night before their wedding camping with their loved ones in Breckenridge, CO. They enjoyed a slow morning waking up with coffee around the campfire before saying their vows in a private cove. They spent the rest of the day relaxing and celebrating, just as they hoped!
The next day we met up at the trailhead of their favorite spot in Colorado and spent the rest of the evening swapping stories, exploring, and watching the prettiest moon rise over the valley below us.
If you’ve been torn between spending time with loved ones or going on an epic adventure for your wedding, here’s permission to do both!
