Sophia and Keaton met online. After a year of emailing back and forth, Sophia finally flew out to Colorado to meet Keaton in person. After picking her up at DIA, Keaton took Sophia to Sliceworks in Denver for pizza. They ended the night playing games at 1Up across the street.
When they decided to get married, they originally considered a bigger wedding. But with COVID in the air that wasn’t going to be possible for a while and they wanted to get married more quickly. So they opted for an intimate wedding with their immediate family in Rocky Mountain National Park.
My favorite part of their day was when they took a break from go-go-go and sat down together to read letters that their family and friends had sent them from all over the world. Between the laughs, smiles and tears, it was a moment that these two could remember all the important people they have in their life without them being physically present.
