Winter Elopement in Telluride | Joelys + Steven

I can’t stop thinking about the perfect day Joelys and Steven shared during their winter elopement in Telluride!

Joelys told me, “When I first met Steven, it felt like my soul recognized him and my first reaction was a simple ‘Oh, there you are!’ I knew he was going to change my entire life and I felt like he’d done this in previous lives too. “

When it came time to plan their winter elopement in Telluride, Joelys and Steven knew that they wanted to explore somewhere new together and experience Colorado winter at its finest! They finally decided on the town of Telluride on the western slope of Colorado.

They began their day getting ready in their rental home with a view. At a nearby frozen lake, Joelys and Steven played rock-paper-scissors to determine who would share their heartfelt vows first. After toasting with some cocktails from a local restaurant, Joelys and Steven rode the free Telluride gondola up to 10,500 feet for sunset photos. I think these two absolutely accomplished their goal and had a winter elopement in Telluride that they’ll never forget!
