Ashlee and Josh first met sophomore year in health class. After falling out of touch after graduation, they eventually reconnected in 2018. When Josh decided he wanted to propose and started brainstorming ideas, he couldn’t keep the fact that he had picked up his grandma’s ring a secret one second longer and ended up proposing in their bedroom just as Ashlee was getting ready to leave for work!

After having to re-think their Halloween wedding, they instead spent the afternoon getting ready together in the coolest castle-like Airbnb that they decorated with art that made it feel more like them. They shared their vows under snow-covered pine trees as a herd of deer watched from afar before heading off on a short sunset hike.

When we say there are no rules to what your wedding day can be, this is what we mean! Even a white dress isn’t a requirement!
