Laura and Adam are a totally sweet Texas couple who fell in love four years ago. After Adam proposed, they were planning a Texas wedding in Houston but felt the way so many couples feel when organizing a big wedding: overwhelmed, stressed and that is was just no fun. So, on a whim, these two decided to have a winter Colorado elopement at Sapphire Point while they were visiting Breckenridge, CO with their close group of friends. A Colorado mountain elopement, in my opinion, is the best way to start your forever with your other half!
As Adam stepped out of the 10 passenger van their whole group of friends had rented, he was blindfolded so he couldn’t see his bride who was in the seat behind him. Laura walked along the snowy path towards her groom as a close friend played their processional song on a mini speaker perched on a nearby rock. These two shared heartfelt vows that were sweet and simple, just like this wedding day they were finally at. Nearby clouds threatened to snow as champagne was popped in celebration and these two drove off down the windy mountain road towards Breckenridge to complete the celebration over dinner and drinks.
Thank you Adam and Laura for allowing me to witness your day, for inviting me into this special moment that only a few of your closest friends had the opportunity to be a part of, and for choosing to follow your heart and elope in my favorite place on earth, the mountains of Colorado.
