Crested Butte Anniversary Session | Laura & Joel

When Joel and Laura reached out about wanting to celebrate their anniversary with a session in the mountains at the same time I was planning a camping trip in Crested Butte, I knew it was going to be a match made in heaven!

Despite the rain that seemed to hang around all week, the skies decided to part just as I met up with Laura and Joel.

We spent a few hours swapping jokes and sharing stories as we explored fields of wildflowers, moody mountain vistas, and the most vibrant emerald lake. Of course, we gave their two pups lots of love, too!

Crested Butte is one of my favorite places in Colorado, and I had the best time sharing a little slice of it with Laura and Joel! It’s such a cute lil’ laid back mountain town with everything you could need for the perfect day – waterfalls, wildflowers, aspen groves, colorful mountains, alpine lakes, and the nicest locals.
