Moody 3M Curve Proposal | Jeff & Kelsey

Bailey was the true MVP of our engagement experience!! In typical fashion for me, I hadn’t thought through any of the details of our proposal with just weeks ahead of the the big day. Proposing in Rocky Mountain National Park, a place I had never been and knew little about, also known for limited cell service and unpredictable weather… what could go wrong? Enter Bailey to save the day!

From the first call with Bailey, it was clear she was the right person to capture the moment for us! Not only was her energy and enthusiasm contagious, but her desire to not only be a photographer, but my partner in planning & executing the entire day had me sold. Bailey listened to the things most important to me about the proposal (privacy, keeping it a surprise, and epic views) and walked me through the best options to accomplish each of those things. However, she didn’t stop there, providing restaurant recommendations for a celebratory dinner after the fact, and other ideas for things to do while in Estes Park.

After the proposal, people were amazed how calm and composed I was all day leading up to it, and I truly believe Bailey was a big part of why I was able to do so! I felt confident that no matter what happened, she would have a plan b (and plan c, if needed) to ensure the day was incredible. We exchanged a few short texts in the morning to make sure everything was set, and one text to let her know we were on our way and we were ready to go…. Until it started pouring rain as we were driving to the agreed upon spot. We decided to wait it out in the car for a few minutes, leaving Bailey to sit, hiding in the rain even longer, but it didn’t matter, she met us with as big a smile as ever when we it finally happened!

The photos Bailey captured are INCREDIBLE, and speak for themself. I don’t think a day has gone by we haven’t looked at them. However, equally impressive, she made the engagement photo session a blast! To say taking photos together is a struggle for us would be a massive understatement, but with Bailey on our team, it didn’t matter! We truly had so much fun, and spent most of the 2 hour session in fits of uncontrollable laughter. It felt like Bailey had known us for years, and captured not only the special moment, but our relationship over the last 5 years. We have a bit of a hard time finding the words for just how great of an experience our engagement session was, other than it was a blast, the photos we’re great, and we felt like Bailey became a true friend. We have already joked about coming up with an excuse for another photo session with her!
