Golden Gate Canyon State Park Adventure Anniversary Session

This is AJ and Alissa and they wanted to celebrate their one year anniversary with an adventure couples session in Golden Gate Canyon State Park.

They met while serving on a mission trip together in Africa Their shared love of climbing 14’ers, exploring new places and soaking up all the mountain views Colorado has to offer gave AJ the idea to propose to Alissa while on one of their favorite hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park.

To celebrate their engagement-versary, AJ asked me to take pictures of them at one of their favorite mountain lookouts, Panorama Point in Golden Gate Canyon State Park. The best part? They wore their wedding clothes to celebrate which made this mountain adventure photography session that much better!

Not only are these two a fun-loving couple, but they are friends of mine who’s marriage I adore! They braved the cold together and have stunning Colorado mountain anniversary pictures to prove it.
